The Newtonmorf held on Saturday 12th January, saw Stirling Castle as the backdrop for this year's races. Aonach Mor Uphill Race 1 January Several Harriers travelled over to Aonach Mor on January 1st for the annual uphill race. Andrew Barr had a strong race to finish 7th in North Area Training session womeh Dec Cheers to Carol for timing, James for biscuits and Hannah for teas and photos. Thanks to Hannah for the photos. Forres Harriers Junior Trophy awards 8 November Well done to Faith Kenyon and Ewan Martin who were presented with the junior trophies this evening. These are awarded every six months to our juniors on the basis of their work ethic, the respect they show and the general example that they set to other members of the club.

Great day in the snowy mountains. Six Forres Harriers took part in the Dramathon which consisted of a Marathon, a Half Marathon, a 10K and a Relay, all running on owmen same day mainly off road and along the same route. It was quite demanding but very scenic and beautiful with the autumn ned and varied Mature unattached women in new Newtonmore. Not that the runners were able to admire it very much, as it was pretty rough underfoot that we had to watch our footing all the time! It was an extremely well organised event with a great atmosphere.

Fun afternoon in the rain. Ben ran in the junior event and finished 2nd overall in a closely fought race with eventual winner Josh Benton. A massive well done on an amazing show of strength, spirit, agility and mental toughness from Fran Britain finishing the Glencoe Skyline Race today. The weather was pretty harsh, so the course was shortened for safety reasons.
One of the scrambles was removed and a chunk of the Ladies wants sex Hood River. Bruce Evans had a steady paced run in the under 13 boys race to finish 64th. Ben Cameron did not get the best of starts in the under 15 boys unattaches. A owmen at the start meant that he was sitting last off the gun, but Ben easily worked his way through the field and passed over other runners to finish 23rd.

Anna is not long back from injury and has steadily been regaining lost fitness and speed. Anna patiently sat in the lead pack of runners for the first lap of the course.

For Isobel and Bruce, this finishes off a rather successful week of Cross Country running, with Isobel winning her race confidently in the Moray Secondary Schools competition and Bruce making his NNewtonmore placing at the same event look very easy. Harriet Neall was the only Harrier Under 15 girl racing and finished 8th overall.
During the week, all wlmen boys and Harriet had also been competing at the Moray Secondary Schools competition. David Spencer dominated unattched race from start to finish. David Scott and Ben Cameron battled it out in their race, with David using his sprint finish to steal 2nd place from Ben. Lauren Cameron was the only Harrier girl to run in the Under 17 girls and finished 8th overall.
After the racing was finished, it was back to Forres Town Hall for the overall league winners presentation. Bruce Evans was rewarded for his consistent performances with 3rd overall in the Under 13 boys. In the under 13 boys, Bruce Evans was 9th and Aidan Matthews 16th. Harriett Neall was 9th in the under 15 girls. In the under 15 boys, Ben Cameron had a strong race to finish 2nd in a very competitive field, supported well by David Spencer in 7th. Colin Hall was the only senior man to make the journey North and finished 34th. Jess was well supported wpmen Carrie-Ann Ward in 9th, Jess Haworth in 10th and Lil Kenyon 14th in her first ever cross country race for the uanttached.
The ladies finished joint first team with Inverness Harriers. This result should make the last league race of the season, which will be held in Grant Park, very interesting, with Forres Harriers and Inverness Harriers hoping to challenge current leaders, Moray Road Runners for the trophy.
North Endurance Training Session 20 January Another fantastic turn out of 70 athletes in Grant Park this morning for the North area training session. Although temperatures were well below zero underfoot conditions were perfect. It really is good to see athletes of all abilities coming along and supporting the sessions. Edinburgh 13 January Nfwtonmore The event held at Holyrood in the shadow of Arthur's Seat, gives selected club runners the chance to compete against the best in Scotland and the North of England in the morning, then the chance to view the televised International races later in the day. Hilary produced our second individual medal of the day as she was second in the masters section. Next home was new ladies captain Carrie-Ann Ward in 16th place.
Next in was Helen Webster in 26th place closely followed by Kaisa Oikkonen in 27th in her first season running Mature unattached women in new Newtonmore country for the club. The team event also produced a close finish with MRR beating our ladies into second place by just three points. A strong showing from the senior men saw nine finishers. This was the 4th event in a series of 4.
